Anastasia Wilcoxson

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH: 7th Grade

My name is Anastasia Wilcoxson. I am thirteen years old and in seventh grade. My hobbies are gaming, baking, and playing sports. My favorite food is sushi. My favorite book is There is Someone Inside Your House and my favorite movie is “Clueless,” the 1995 version. I like the color grey and my favorite subject is history. My favorite thing about Cotter School is that it is a perfect size; not too many people and not too few. A fun fact about myself is that I like Boba tea and the mall.

Andrew Tardiff

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH: SENIOR

My name is Andrew Tardiff and I am seventeen years old. I am in grade twelve grade and I have many hobbies. Some of my favorite things are playing the piano, playing the trombone, and going hiking and camping with family and friends. My favorite food is donuts and any dish with chicken inside. I like the color blue. My favorite subjects are history and science. My favorite animals are a wolf and a bat. An accomplishment that I am proud of is getting all A’s and having a 4.0 GPA. I like Cotter School because it is small and because of my teachers and friends. A fun fact about me is that I am a pastor’s kid and that I am fast and amazing!

Hannah Ehlinger

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH: SOPHOMORE

My name is Hannah Ehlinger, I am sixteen years old and in tenth grade. My hobbies/interests include acting, reading, singing, and hanging out with friends. My favorite food consists of chicken nuggets. My favorite book is Five Total Strangers by Natalie D. Richards and my favorite movie is “Little Women.” My favorite color is blue. My favorite subject in school is English, and dogs are my favorite animals. An accomplishment I am most proud of is being in the top ten in my class. My favorite thing about Cotter is the teachers and my friends. A fun fact about me that few would know is I want to go to Benedictine College; hence the Ravens sweatshirt I wear.

Calli Dilbeck

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH: JUNIOR

My name is Calli Dilbeck. I am seventeen years old and in eleventh grade. My hobbies/interests include softball and hunting. Mexican food is my favorite kind of food. My favorite book is The Siren, and my favorite color is sage green. History is my favorite subject in school, and my favorite animal is a dog. The thing I am most proud of is getting outside my comfort zone and getting less shy by participating in extracurricular activities. My favorite thing about Cotter is how much pride the students and teachers have in our small school. A fun fact about me is that my family breeds mountain curs (dogs) and I am obsessed with puppies.

Sarah DeAtley

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH: FRESHMAN

My name is Sarah DeAtley. I am fourteen years old and in ninth grade. My hobbies/interests include art, volleyball, hiking, basketball, biking, skiing, swimming, and social media. Mac-n-cheese, pomegranate, and breakfast cheesecake are some of my favorite foods. My favorite book is It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover and my favorite movie is “Luca.” My favorite colors are sage green and pink. Science is my favorite subject in school. Some of the accomplishments I am most proud of are getting on the all-A’s honor roll, being in G.T., and getting Student of the Month for August/September! My favorite things about my school are my friends and teachers. A fun fact about me is that my only nickname is Sarebear!

Mrs. Keri Raycraft

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER TEACHER OF THE MONTH

My name is Keri Raycraft and I teach seventh and eighth-grade English. I am married to my husband, Sammy, and we have two daughters, Nide and Elodie. Nide is in fifth grade and Elodie is in second grade. We also have a cat named Luna. I love reading and watching sports. Some of my favorite foods are tacos and pizza. I love so many different books, it’s too hard to pick a favorite! Some of my favorite authors at the moment are Taylor Jenkins Reid and Emily Henry. My favorite color is teal and my favorite holiday is Christmas. I went to college at ASU in Mountain Home. My greatest accomplishment is being a mom to my two girls. I am also very proud when my students succeed! I love teaching at Cotter and have been teaching here for all of my careers; fifteen years! I love my students, co-workers, and supportive administration. Something that you might not know about me is that my husband is not a US citizen; he is from Canada.

Cotter vs. MHCA

On October 4, 2022, The Cotter Warriors played against the Mountain Home Christian Academy. The Jr. High Lady Warriors won the 2nd set, 25-14, against the Jr. High Lady Eagles.

The Sr. High Lady Warriors played against the Sr. High Lady Eagles and all of the sets were really close in score. In their set, the Lady Warriors battled hard and tied at 14-15, 16-17, but MHCA won 19-17 in the final set.
